The TALLEST Rail I've EVER Skated
Title/thumbnail is a joke, I explain it at the end! Trying something a little different and recorded a session with my friend Luis and chopped it up to this edit! Learned a few new ones and had an overall great time skating with the homie!

Mental health has been a big topic lately, been struggling a bit for the past few months. But I'm looking forward to getting on the grind again! Want to give a huge shout out to some close friends @DannyTorres, @DeezCards, @LrodriguezMedia for being supportive and giving great advice throughout this! Had the board since January 8, filmed the video on February 15 and posting it on March 11 lmfao...

    Vert was always my favorite. What is so cool about skateboarding is you can make up tricks that no one has ever thought of. The sky is the limit. When I was younger I would go to sleep trying to come up with something to try. There is no substitute for spending hours on your board.

  • @keithparker9503
    @keithparker9503 9 місяців тому

    You have to get a fakie ollie first. Then when you get better at doing a fakie ollie, you will start to get little table top fakie ollies. Then when you drop in on vert, you just tell yourself that you are coming back in from a small table top fakie ollie. That is how I did it. If you are not making any contact with the coping and then just dropping in, yeah of course it is going to be scary.

    The bushing you had in the videos was cracked you should change it. It makes the trucks looser and have less control so you have to tighten them more and with that you change the geometry of the trucks which is bad. You should buy harder bushings if you cant get the stock ones hard as you want. And also the washer shape plays quite a big part conical washer like the indy stock makes you have more control and the bones bushings makes the truck turn more and habe less control if you really want to do this for vert i would put the stock indy washer on the bushing and use the bones washer on top under the nut that should make it a bit more controled but the best option would be buying harder bushings

    Been skating for 20 years. I prefer bones medium bushings on my Indy trucks, for my style. I have my trucks finger tight with quarter turn of a wrench to lock them in. I bomb hills I flip my board fine and I can 3 flip no problem still . It’s preferences and style. Some people like skating gaps ? Some like skating manny pads : some like park only . Some are old school and want to just street skate . Go have fun . Feel your best . It’s good for you. Tight or loose, to me skateboarding is freedome

    thank you for your video, actually I've been working on overcoming my fear of dropping in, in general (but on the ramp especially), I just can't seem to bring my back foot on the bord and it's killing me, but, I'm working on it, training almost everyday and your tips are very helpful, thank you!

    ***DISCLAIMER*** had these boards up for ~5 years without issue. came time to move out of this apartment, the command hook strips had dried up and did not pull away from the wall easily and ended up damaging the drywall. please be aware.

    Dude... way to put in the work! Vert is still so scary for me as well. It's so funny how we start these little rituals to help us. I still have to hold the nose of my board when I drop in on vert. I know it looks kind of kooky but I initially started doing it to force myself to keep my body low and forwards and now I'm too afraid to try without doing it. I used to actually do it on all drop ins, but now I only do it on vert.

    Haven't skated in years, and haven't dropped in for even longer... but the fear is real and after every break from skating it comes back... the pov shots bring it all back again! haha. I've only ever skated small pools and stuff too, not these heights. Congrats on working through the fear. Wild!

    At 6:04 you "fold" your upper body forward - towards the knees which are "pulled up" - a lot after pumping up. Is this something you think of consciously, or does it happen naturally? Getting into this position, and staying in this position in the air, is my biggest challenge. My best attempts from my last fly out session look like this: ua-cam.com/video/HCYBsxwrOr8/v-deo.html
